In our time the Internet is really popular in our life. We use the Internet every day. People of different ages spend time in the Internet for different reasons. What is a computer for you? A friend? A helper?
Personally for me, a computer is a friend. I like to spend my free time on the website vkontakte.ru. Also, I often watch interesting films and listen to music in the Internet. In the same time, the Internet is the biggest helper for me. Every day I find information for different subjects. Sometimes I do some exercise to raise the level of my knowledge. In my opinion the Internet is a great way for entertainment and for education.
As everything in our life it's a two-edged weapon.For me a computer is a great helper. I also use it for communication with my friends who live all over the world. But for children it is sometimes difficult to notice the moment from which a computer turns into an enemy. In my opinion parents should help in such a situation.

I always find lectures to school for different subjects, especially for the history and literature, where we always need in reports. Internet has a lot of different information and it is a great source of information. Also I like to download pictures and music from Internet. I think that Internet is irreplaceable helper in our life.

For those to whom don't suffice dialogue and time in a real life, it is an output. Although this communication is only mirage, dead dialoges.

XD At some sites you can find other games. They help to develop some skills. There are games in which you need to create clothes or to arrange the furniture in the room. It’s helps to develop the skill of the fashion design and the interior design. There are games related to the cooking. They develop culinary skills. I think all these games can be useful.
On the other hand, in the Internet I talk with old friends and find new. There is a huge number of dating sites where you can find friends and chat with them. In addition, friends can be searched by interests. It is much more convenient. In addition, there are many forums and web chats where you can communicate with different people, sharing your thoughts with them and find the information that you need.
In addition Internet is a good assistant for homework, too. At sites such as google.ru, yandex.ru or Wikipedia, you can find information about different subjects. For example reports to the history or biology, biographies of writers and poems and short stories to literature, and much more.
Nevertheless, the Internet shouldn’t be the single friend. You couldn’t sit for days on the Internet. As for me, if my friends will call me for a walk, I am happy to leave the Internet and go with them.
Nastya, I have some questions to you. You said that you communicate with a lot of people in Internet. Do you communicate with all of them in real life? Have you got some friends with who you communicate only in the Internet?

If be honest, I already have spend a month without the Internet. In the summer (2009) it broke down and my mother took him away. In addition to this before it, I have gone in St. Petersburg for a month. I haven’t had the Internet for 2 or 3 month. It makes me a little changed. I began to walk, read, and cook. I discovered a lot of interesting places in our city. I began to meet more often with my friends. At first it was hard, but then I started to like life without Internet.

ОтветитьУдалитьWell, Olya, I know a lot of people in the Internet, but i can't speak with them in real life. I find in the Web very unusual people: writers, poets, artists, philosophers... I sometimes regret about that i can't hear their voices... And, for me, Internet communication is a way to keeping the balance in the my common life.
