Advantages: Children begin to learn and bring to parents good marks. Parents have good marks, children have money. Parents and children are pleased.
Disadvantages: Kids will do their homework only if they get a pocket of money from parents. And if the parents stop to give money for their children, kids will be angry for their parents.
There isn`t sense in this study.
I know many parents who give extra pocket money to their children. They think that this is an excellent idea. But is it really so?
ОтветитьУдалитьThere are several advantages in this situation. First, the kids really begin to learn well. Secondly, the relationship between parents and children become better. Thirdly, the kids can quickly save money for something, that they have wanted for long time.
But all these things happen only in the first time. A few weeks or month later all advantages are lost. In their place come disadvantiges. Children stop learning at all again. "The main thing is paents give me money", they say. But after some time, children asked for more and more money and spend it anywhere. And if parents constantly give their children extra pocket money, and then suddenly stop, the children begin to hate thair parents.
But in general, the children's behavior in this situation depends on their nature. If a child receives money and understands what parents want for it, I think it's good idea. But personally I have never been in a similar situation. My mother never gave me money for good marks. And I think it is right.))

ОтветитьУдалитьA lot of parents use money like medicine against laziness. There children`s laziness to study. But I don`t think this help children really. And now we have to understand that we study only for our future and only for ourselves.
But on the other hand many students don`t even guess to ask extra pockey money from their good marks. Because study is the most impotent duty for us in our days.
So, I never take my parents money for studing. But at the end of the school year my father and and mother give me presents.I think that small presents are desirable in contrast of money.

ОтветитьУдалитьSome parents think that this is the only way to encourage their children because to study is boring and difficult. Children work at school all the morning and when they come home, they must prepare their homework. Therefore, they work almost all day. Perhaps, many parents think that if they are given money for their work, why not to give money to the children for their work? They think the money will make their children to study better because they would like to have money for sweets and different games. Otherwise, the children save the money for games not eating breakfast at school.
Unfortunately, this is not true. Firstly, children get used to study only if they are given money. Therefore, their marks become worse and worse if parents can’t give them money every day. Secondly, if there are many children in the family, it’s impossible to give them all money for every good mark when they start going to school. Thirdly, children must study well not for the save of money but because it’s interesting and because the good knowledge will help them to make a career and to find an interesting work they like.
As for me, I wouldn’t give extra pocket money for each good mark to my children. My parents sometimes give me money for good marks and it didn’t make me work better. But, I think, it’s right to give children extra pocket money on holidays or when they ask for it. Otherwise, they will find different ways to find the money they need themselves.
I don't know people with this situation but I hear about this problem and have an opinion.
ОтветитьУдалитьI think what giving the pocket money as encourage may be a good practice. It is a first way to children to earn money. Also this activity will give pupils a stimulus to learning better than in the past.
On the one hand, this activity has changeable effect - many pupils are too lazy and money isn't very attractive to them. Other disadvantage of this method is children might will become so greed and agree to do all housework only with money.
One the other hand, giving money is the best decision to parents who want to make good relationship with their children. But these actions could make only economic attitudes.
I think, if parents decide to do that, they have to think about a future effect.
I think, that such motivation is ambiguous? as all children are different and grasp this motivation differently. Personally I think, that this motivation is wrong. Child thinks, that it will be such a way always and everywhere, but he makes a mistake. If a child gets accustomed to such motivation and when it vanish, the child can`t do something independently. It`s bad.

Parents have never given to me money, and I think, that it is correct.
I think this is an excellent idea. Because if the parents will give money for good grades, the students will be motivated by good studies. I think a lot of people will agree with me. And when the children will need money (and they usually require private:)) they will study intensively. My parents for a long time given me money for excellent results.
ОтветитьУдалитьI think its a good idea.Children will have a stimulus for good study.And sometimes parents don't notice good estimations.Therefore pocket money will be good encouragement.Also money is necessary to children to buy food or to go to cafe with friends.But disadvantages of them,that children will get used to money for study.Children will study if parents give them money.Parents never give to me money,because i never required it.

ОтветитьУдалитьI think that the exellent motivations for students.Often,when need to do the homework,students surf in the internet or go for a walk with more pleasure.And if parents give extra pocket money students will study better.When i was learning in primary school my granmother give me extra pocket money.

ОтветитьУдалитьIt's awful! I mean if child needs money he will study well, but if he doesn't need it he will not study at all. Knowledges can't be bought.My parents never give me money and I think they're right. We must study because we need to earn marks, not money. And if parents give children money for good marks, they must take it away if he gets bad mark.
